you are right to be mistrustful of EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING that gives you pause. and start telling your mother that. there will be a time when you’re afraid to come home — don’t be afraid to speak up.

Believe in yourself.  You have the strength inside you.  Dont be afraid to tell the truth to your teachers, other adults.  And when you see an opportunity to get money or to contact someone, go for it.  It will be the right thing, and you wont be betraying anyone.

 I love you.  You are stronger and more amazing than you would believe.  You are not ugly.  You will not be defined by your race, but it will be precious to you.  You were born quirky, weird, complex, stoic, pensive, vulnerable and iron fisted for a reason.  If I told you not to believe all their taunts, teasing, insults, bullying, etc.  I wouldn’t be here.  I’ll be waiting for you.
